With this rebranding, we have featured a section on the latest cannabis litigation trends.
As outlined in the report, recent years have seen dramatic development in the cannabis marketplace. A total of 36 states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana for medical use, and 15 of those jurisdictions also allow recreational use as of November 2020. Regarding hemp, the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill prompted the introduction of new hemp and hemp-derived products, namely those containing cannabidiol (CBD), into the market.
